The government is planning to build a public housing project providing up to 1,000 units as well as a government service building on the plot of land where the former CEM power station in Avenida de Venceslau de Morais is located, according to the proposed legal conditions for the development of the plot, presented during a regular meeting of the government-appointed Urban Planning Council yesterday.
Yesterday’s meeting was held at the Transport Bureau (DSAT).
According to the proposed legal conditions, the development of the plot, covering some 12,000 square metres, includes a public housing project, community facilities and a government service building.
