Air Macau said in a statement yesterday that its fuel surcharge will be adjusted in accordance with fuel prices on a monthly basis, and next month all routes’ fuel surcharges will be lowered.
According to the statement, the fuel charge will be applied per flight sector and collected based on where the journey originated. The statement said that the surcharge will also be applied to children and infants.
The statement underlined that flights between the mainland and Macau will have their fuel surcharge lowered from 180 yuan to 154 yuan. The statement said that flights to Vietnam, Thailand, and all other counties and regions will have their surcharge reduced from US$28 to US$24.
