Grand Lisboa Palace launches CNY delicacies & spa offers

Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (GLP) said in a recent statement that it is set to offer an array of Chinese New Year (CNY) gourmet delicacies for guests to celebrate the Spring Festival.

According to the statement, Cantonese restaurant Palace Garden, located on Level 3 of Grand Lisboa Palace, will offer delicacies and feasts from January 31 to February 7 to welcome the Chinese New Year. The statement said that its CNY lunch (1,288 patacas per person) and dinner (2,688 patacas per person) set menus include Suckling Pig roasted and served with Black Truffle and Mushrooms, and Kanto Sea Cucumber stewed with sun-dried Oyster in Supreme Abalone Sauce.

In addition, the statement said that paying homage the traditional Cantonese tea house culture, Chalou offers delicacies, such as Red Spotted Grouper steamed with Yunnan Ham and Mushroom, the Chalou Deluxe Poon Choi, and a Whole Crispy Chicken with Lemongrass among many others, during from January 31 to February 6.

The statement pointed out that Chalou also offers a take-home Chalou Deluxe Poon Choi and a variety of New Year cakes including the Chalou Longan Red Date Cake, Golden Osmanthus Water Chestnut Cake, Taro Cake with Roasted Duck, and Traditional Turnip Cake with Preserved Meat.

According to the statement, from now until February 10, Palace Garden offers high-end CNY cakes including Rice Cake with Fresh Coconut Juice and Bird’s Nest, Turnip Cake with Matsutake Mushroom, and Japanese Chestnut Cake with Conpoy.

The statement also said that guests are able to purchase exquisitely designed CNY hampers from Palace Garden either by choosing their own items or purchasing ready-made hampers containing CNY cakes, premium Chinese tea, and the head chef’s special homemade X.O. sauce flavoured with shrimp essence.

The Year of the Tiger begins on February 1.
