The Macau Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) announced in a statement yesterday that its Tourism Retail and Marketing Management Programme students took part in an industrial project to support a newly established F&B company called Sol Garden.

“Sol” means “sun” in Portuguese.

According to the IFTM statement, students utilised their “virtual merchandising knowledge” to produce videos spanning 15-30 seconds which were uploaded to Instagram, Facebook, Little Red Book and Douyin.

The statement noted that a total of 30 videos were produced that focused on highlighting the target market, core message, selected merchandise and store set-up, among others.

The statement pointed out that Sol Garden’s co-founder Ernesto Rodrigues César expressed gratitude for the project, adding that the videos produced a considerable number of views and engagements through multiple platforms.
