SJM Resorts (SJM) said in a statement yesterday that Grand Lisboa Macau’s Robuchon au Dôme and The 8 have received three-star ratings in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2022.
The award winners in the annual MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong and Macau were announced last night in a virtual award ceremony, with SJM as MICHELIN Guide’s Official Partner.
According to the statement, French restaurant Robuchon au Dôme received the coveted three-star award for the 14th consecutive year, while Chinese restaurant The 8 garnered its three-star rating for the 9th consecutive year, and The Kitchen also retained its one star. The statement also pointed out that operated by SJM’s parent company STDM, the restaurants received the highest three-star awards for the 11th consecutive year.
SJM Board of Directors Chairwoman Daisy Ho Chiu Fung said in the statement that “SJM is pleased at MICHELIN Guide’s recognition of our contributions to the city’s vibrant culinary culture, in support of the government’s efforts in promoting ‘tourism + gastronomy’ as Macau establishes itself as a world centre of tourism and leisure”.
