MGM is providing special offers and activities at its resorts in celebration of the Year of the Golden Tiger through its Spectacle Go, Creativity Go and Fortune Bites Go.
An MGM statement yesterday said that for its Spectacle Go, MGM COTAI’s The Spectacle was transformed into “a snow-white winter wonderland” with festive decorations. A complimentary activity called Curling Go is also provided during the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday and selected weekends, enabling guests to participate in the emerging sport with professional guidance.
The statement added that the Flying Penguin Go glides under The Spectacle roof daily at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show is encompassed by lively animation projected on 25 LED screens all over the space.
Meanwhile, at MGM COTAI, the statement pointed out that for its Creativity Go, Anytime will host the “Chinese New Year Cupcake Decoration Workshop” and “Winter Festive Doughnut Decoration Workshop”. Each seat is priced at 150 patacas, adding that guests are eligible for a 50 percent discount with spending at MGM’s dining outlets on the same day, adding that advanced reservation is required. Pastry chefs will also sculpt festive chocolate showpieces at the craftsmanship demonstration sessions in the restaurant, the statement said.
Moreover, M’Art launched a limited Lunar New Year art workshop for the Awakening Lion spirits and on Chinese lanterns, showcasing Lingnan culture through contemporary art. The workshop welcomes kids aged 3 or above and is priced at 100 patacas per person and is available every afternoon until February 15, the statement said, with MGM COTAI’s in-house guests and selected diners eligible for free enrolment.
The statement noted that for its Fortune Bites Go, MGM’s restaurants including Imperial Court and Five Foot Road presents an array of Chinese festive delicacies from different regions in mainland China, while a CNY afternoon tea set is available at both Rossio at MGM MACAU and Anytime at MGM COTAI.
Chún at MGM COTAI is also offering an afternoon dim sum tea set, while other restaurants, such as Coast and Pastry Bar, provide a variety of festive afternoon tea options.
