Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) President Guilherme Ung Vai Meng said yesterday his bureau was planning to keep the mosaic and the date stone of the dilapidated Hotel Estoril.
He also said that it would difficult to preserve the mosaic as it was very fragile.
Three members of the government-appointed Urban Planning Council urged the government to keep the iconic façade of the Hotel Estoril in a regular meeting of the council on Monday.
