Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng and basketball legend Yao Ming discussed preparations for the 15th National Games, which will be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau in 2025, during a meeting at Government Headquarters on Friday.
According to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS), both also exchanged views on a wide range of sport-related matters.
Yao, who has chaired the Chinese Basketball Association since 2017, thanked Ho for Macau’s support of the recent National Super League 2021 Men’s Basketball 3x3 competition.According to the statement, Yao was impressed by the quality of Macau’s sports facilities which he visited during his stay here.
