The Judiciary Police (PJ) announced yesterday the arrest of a local man suspected of conspiring with two friends to burglarise their friend’s home which resulted in the victim losing valuables worth about HK$850,000.
A PJ spokesperson announced the case during a special press briefing.
The spokesperson said the 22-year-old unemployed man surnamed Wong was arrested at his home in the northern district.
According to the spokesperson, the burglary occurred in May. The two other local men suspected of being involved in the case were transferred by the police to the Public Prosecution Office (MP) in May.
