The race event is titled-sponsored by Sands China and is organised by the bureau in conjunction with the General Association of Athletics of Macau.

The statement noted that registration for the race started yesterday, with the Fun Run (approximately 5 km) only having limited places left. Registration can be done online at www.macao10k.com or by scanning the event’s QR code.

The statement underlined that on March 20, the Fun Run race will start at 7 a.m. while the 10K race will begin at 7:30 a.m. The races will start at Sai Van Lake Square, cross Sai Van Bridge and finish inside the Olympic Sport Centre Stadium.

The statement emphasised that all participants must have completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before the race.

Participants must also schedule a Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) and present a valid negative result inclusive of the race day before being allowed to run.

Moreover, the statement added that participants must abide by Law No. 2/2004– ‘Law on the Prevention, Control and Treatment of Infectious Diseases’, as well as observe the government’s COVID-19 pandemic measures and quarantine requirements upon entering Macau. Confirmed registrations cannot be cancelled or refunded, the statement added.
