BEIJING – A central government work report pledges efforts to help Hong Kong and Macau develop the economy and improve people's wellbeing, ensure that the two special administrative regions (SARs) better integrate themselves into the country's overall development, and maintain their long-term prosperity and stability.

The report was submitted by Premier Li Keqiang this morning to the National People's Congress (NPC) for deliberation. – Xinhua, MPD

Police probe suspicious fire at airport
The Judiciary Police (PJ) revealed yesterday a suspected case of arson at the local airport.The incident happened at around noon yesterday. No injuries were reported.According to a PJ statement, the police found a small amount of burnt paper towels behind a currency exchange shop located in the airport arrival hall.
