Temperature to dip to around 14° Celsius: observatory

The Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said in a statement yesterday that the temperature is expected to dip to around 14 degrees Celsius today.

According to the statement, a northeast monsoon is expected to affect the South China Sea this morning, adding that there will be a few rain patches. The statement underlined that the mercury is forecast drop in the morning and at night. However, the statement pointed out, the weather will become sunny and dry during the daytime. The bureau urged the public to be aware of the changing weather.

At 1:30 a.m. today, the mercury stood at 18 degrees Celsius.
