Power utility CEM announced in its Customer Liaison Committee Regular Meeting yesterday at its headquarters that it is launching by the end of the month a new mobile app to optimise the e-motorcycle charging process.

According to a CEM representative, the app will have a simpler layout, a better search function, and users can check the percentage the battery has been charged, and remaining charging time. The representative added that the company has invited different electric motorcycle brands and users to test the new application.

The representative said that the company will be setting up e-motorcycle charging spots at 56 car parks in Macau, adding that it will gradually expand the battery charging network for e-motorcycles. The representative also noted that recent surveys showed that its customer satisfaction rate has reached a new high at 89.5 percent, pointing out that the stability of electricity supply scored 97 percent, which is the highest amongst all categories.
