The Macau Monetary Authority (AMCM) said in a statement yesterday that the exchange period for the XXIV Olympic Winter Games banknotes will be extended to between next Monday and Friday (April 1) to enable the exchange of the subscribed notes at the registrants’ previously selected banks.
Originally, the exchange period was slated to end tomorrow, with the extension “grace period” being done for the convenience of registrants who have not yet exchanged their notes, according to the statement.
