An online ceremony that revealed the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 was held yesterday, with the 10th edition of the list featuring Wynn Palace’s Cantonese restaurant, Wing Lei Palace, in 47th place.
Marking the fourth consecutive year, Wing Lei Palace is again the only restaurant in Macau to be featured in the top 50 list.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Wynn Macau, which was also among the official venue partners for one of the multi-city events for the list. The rankings were also revealed and broadcast internationally through Facebook and YouTube, while live events held in Bangkok, Macau, and Tokyo celebrated the 10th edition of the list, according to the official event website.
Other restaurants in Macau that were featured in the extended 51-100 list were also shared during the ceremony, which were Grand Lisboa’s The 8, City of Dreams’ Jade Dragon, and Wynn Macau’s Golden Flower, which ranked 97th, 89th and 84th respectively.
A Wynn statement quoted Executive Vice President of Food & Beverage for Wynn Macau Limited Kristoffer Luczak as saying that “Wing Lei Palace is once again the only restaurant in Macau to rank on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list, and this year, Golden Flower is listed among the 100 best restaurants for the first time”. The statement added that Wynn was honoured to have had their restaurants “selected as the best in Macau.”
