According to a statement from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), tickets for additional local performances in the 32nd Macao Arts Festival (MAF) will be on sale from tomorrow.

The statement said that the performances were added owing to an “overwhelming response” from the public.

The added shows, the statement said, are two performances for the show Carlos I on May 8 and May 9 at 7 p.m., one performance for The Vanished Figures on May 15 at 8 p.m. and one performance for Grandma’s Treasure Box on May 26 at 8 p.m.

Ticket purchases tomorrow for the added performances are limited to up to six tickets per performance per person, the statement underlined.

Meanwhile, the statement added that there are still limited tickets available for MAF’s other programmes such as for the live performance by the Macao Orchestra of the film Der Rosenkavalier, from the eponymous opera; Macau Experimental Theatre’s Nine Soundscapes, which depicts the ups and downs of the city through the nine tones of Cantonese; and Vaster Far than the Ocean by Stella & Artists, which is produced by dancers from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, combining dance and traditional bamboo scaffolding.

Tickets for the additional performances will be on sale through Macau Ticketing Network outlets and telephone and online booking from 10 a.m. tomorrow. The statement noted that an early bird discount of 30 percent, subject to certain criteria, is also available until Sunday.

Further programme information, as well as information about ticket purchasing and other discounts can be found at www.icm.gov.mo/fam, as well as by following the “Macao Arts Festival” Facebook page or subscribing to IC_Art_Macao WeChat account.

The statement added that the ticketing hotline is 2855 5555, while online ticket reservation is available at www.macauticket.com.
