The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced in a statement yesterday that the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) will present the Local View Power’s (LVP) 14th edition, which will run from May 5-8 at the centre’s Small Auditorium in six sessions.
The statement pointed out that LVP has commissioned more than 140 films in the last 13 years, with some being awarded internationally.
The statement noted that there will be 11 productions of different genres from short features to animated films in this edition. The productions tell “personal and fictional stories inspired by family, and exploring social and human dramas, unveiling urban experiences and a communal sense of belonging”.
Each screening will be followed by “a talkback session” with selected filmmakers sharing their views and creative processes with the audience, the statement underlined.
The statement said that tickets priced at 60 patacas, with various discounts, will be sold at CCM’s box office and Macau Ticketing Network outlets from today.
In line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, participants need to wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, present a valid green Macau Health Code and scan the Venue QR Code, maintain social distancing, and cooperate with crowd control measures.
Further information and ticketing can be found at www.ccm.gov.mo or by calling the credit card ticketing hotline on 2840 0555.
