The houses in the Village of Our Lady of Ka Ho and Taipa Houses Museum will temporarily be closed for repairs and renovation work, according to a statement from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) yesterday.
According to the statement, the bureau will carry out repairs to the Village of Our Lady of Ka Ho’s electric power system tomorrow and Thursday. The electricity supply will be suspended while indoor exhibitions and toilets will be temporary closed, but the adjacent outdoor spaces will remain open, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the statement noted that renovations to the Taipa Houses’ “Macanese Living Museum” interior will be carried out from the end of this month.
The statement said that the work is expected to be finished in July, with the museum being temporarily closed. The work will focus on the “repair and renovation of interior walls, doors, windows and pavements”, among others, the statement underlined.
