SJM Resorts and the Women’s General Association of Macau held a “Mother’s Day Parent-child Flower Workshop” at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort on May 7 in celebration of Mother’s Day, the resort operator said in a recent statement.
The Women’s General Association of Macau is commonly known as Fu Luen, its name in Cantonese.
According to the statement, the participating families were accompanied by representatives from the Macau Women Service Centre at the “GLP Art Workshops” space in the Grand Lisboa Palace – The Bazar.
The statement pointed out that under the guidance of professional florists, the participants created flower arrangements with carnations during the workshop in a “warm and welcoming” atmosphere
The statement pointed out that SJM will continue to “work closely with local associations in the future to hold further activities that convey care as well as promote good community relations and culture”.
