A Melco Resorts & Entertainment statement yesterday announced the launch of the “Super Fun Zone” at Studio City, expecting its latest attraction to open at the end of June.

Promoting economic diversification, the statement pointed out that the zone is a family-friendly entertainment experience, with the 2,750-square-metre venue, going to feature five themed zones: Mountain, Forest, Under the Sea, Outer Space and Space Station, across four levels. It will be open to visitors of all ages

The statement noted that the key attractions include the Under the Sea Zone: Bubble Zone and Bounce-O-Matic, a 223-square-metre “underwater extravaganza with 50 gaming spots” and a 5-metre freefall ride; Forest Zone: Enchanted Treehouse and Raceway, which has “three large treehouses connected by rope bridges, a tube slide launched from more than four metres in height and electric-powered kart racing” ; and the Outer Space Zone: Space Balls,  and a “galaxy-like playground” for toddlers and parents, among others.

The statement quoted Chief Operating Officer David Sisk as saying that Melco will “continue to invest in and promote economic diversification by providing the most innovative entertainment offerings and facilities for the enjoyment of our visitors and guests and for the continued long-term development of the integrated tourism and leisure industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.”
