IKEA launches exclusive ‘Chill Summer with a Twist’ campaign

IKEA said in a recent statement that it has launched its exclusive “Chill Summer with a Twist” campaign, where a number of events are launched by IKEA Hong Kong and Macau stores until June 30. 

The statement noted that with IKEA’s collection of stuffed animals loved by fans, IKEA Hong Kong and Macau stores will set up “Fun Photo Corners” showcasing different “chill moments” of the summer, with the IKEA Summer Garden Party ft. DJ BLÅHAJ and IKEA Beach Holidays with BLÅHAJ & Friends are setups exclusive to Macau. Moreover, a 2-metre-tall teddy bear mascot will also make special appearances at the store.

Visitors to IKEA Macau stores can take photos at designated “Fun Photo Corners” until June 12 and upload the photos to their Instagram with the location tag and “one of the following category hashtags: 1) #IKEASingleFUN for portraits, 2) #IKEADoubleFUN for couple photos, and 3) #IKEATripleFUN for group photos of three people or more”, the statement pointed out. The Instagram account should also be set to public.

The statement said that following these steps can enable participants to have a chance to win an IKEA gift card worth 1,000 patacas. Six winners with the most creative photo in each category from both Hong Kong and Macau will be selected and announced on IKEA’s Instagram story on June 13. 

Moreover, the statement added that by presenting a receipt on the same day of a single purchase of 100 patacas or more, customers can receive “Chill Summer with a Twist” stickers, as well as a 20 pataca coupon for free until June 12. The offer is available on a first come, first served basis, the statement said.
