Macau’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced 10 COVID-19 positive cases imported from Taiwan, Hong Kong and a raft of foreign countries, raising Macau’s asymptomatic tally to 160.
Six of the 10 asymptomatic cases were announced yesterday, one was announced on Saturday, two were announced on Friday, and one was announced on Thursday.
The six patients announced yesterday comprise a 38-year-old woman from Taiwan who entered Macau on Friday, a 50-year-old local woman who returned to Macau on Friday, a 49-year-old local man who returned to Macau from Singapore on Saturday, a 19-year-old local man who returned to Macau on Saturday from the United Kingdom via Singapore, a 42-year-old local man who returned to Macau on Saturday from Australia via Singapore, and a 19-year-old local man who returned to Macau on Saturday from the UK via Singapore.
The patient announced on Saturday is a 28-year-old Hong Kong man who entered Macau on Friday.
The two patients announced on Friday comprise a 25-year-old local man who returned to Macau from Taiwan on Wednesday and a 19-year-old local man who returned to Macau on Wednesday from the UK via Singapore.
The patient announced on Thursday is a 40-year-old local man who returned to Macau from Taiwan on Wednesday.
Macau’s total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases remains at 83.
Meanwhile, the centre has also announced a total of eight “re-positive” cases imported from Hong Kong and a number of foreign countries, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and yesterday.
