The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that registration for the short video competition “hush! 300 Seconds” will be open from Monday to July 4.

The competition offers an online platform for members of the public to “showcase their musical talent and the diverse possibilities of music”, the statement points out. For a chance to win prizes, those interested can submit an application form along with a video of their music or vocal performance.

According to the statement, the jury will choose the best video for the “Share with the HEART Award”. Meanwhile, other awards such as the “Music Plus JAM Prize” for the performers’ musicality, and the “Creative and Fun Award” for their creativity, will also be presented to winners. The statement underlines that those that are the most popular can win the “Most Popular Award”, while those who submit their works first can win the “Participation Spirit Award”.

The awards, the statement notes, are sponsored by various entities such as Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and Bank of China Macau Branch.

The results, the statement says, will be announced on the “HUSH FULL MUSIC” Facebook page on July 7. All awards will be presented at the “hush! Summer Concert”, which will be held at Hac Sa Beach and Coloane Village on July 10. For the competition regulations and application forms, the statement points out, one can check www.icm.gov.mo., while further event information can be found on the Facebook page.

In line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, participants must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, present a valid “Venue QR Code” and the “Macao Health Code” of the day, and follow on-site measures.
