A robber who lost his flip flops while being chased by his victim on Monday night near Areia Preta Park is still on the loose, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said in a regular press conference yesterday.
According to the spokesperson, the suspect, who is in his forties and speaks Cantonese, wore flip flops, a yellow shirt, black trousers and a hat at the time of the robbery.
The PJ spokeswoman said the victim, a woman, was walking near a parking metre area close to Areia Preta Park at about 9.30 p.m. on Monday when someone suddenly hit her hard on the back of the head, causing her to temporarily black out.
