ARTmusing Summer at Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) is set to launch a series of activities for a wide audience, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday.
The statement noted that from July 2 to August 28, the ARTmusing Summer Workshops aim to “boost creativity within audiences of all ages”. The programme includes workshops for babies, families, children, teenagers, and seniors.
From July 28 to August 3, producer Chan Si Kei is collaborating with choreographers Wendy Choi and Annette Ng in creating “Sweet Dream in the Woods”, enabling “tots up to 15 months to wander freely, stimulating their senses”, according to the statement. The statement added that a pair of dancers will lead the babies to explore every corner of a “forest” and will feature the sounds of exotic and traditional instruments.
The ARTmusing Film Carnival, which will take place from August 25 to 28, will enable kids, teenagers and their families to watch an international movie selection screened at festivals around the world, ranging from animations to documentaries, the statement said.
Moreover, the statement underlined that in ARTmusing Fun on August 28, kids can choose from a variety of activities and games, ranging from workshops to arts and crafts, as well as short performances, throughout an afternoon specially prepared “to elevate everyone’s creative mood”.
The statement noted that tickets for the programmes will be on sale from Sunday at the Macao Ticketing Network, while pre-registration for workshops will start today. More details can be found at www.ccm.gov.mo or by calling 2840 0555.
The statement said that in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, participants must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, scan the QR Venue Code and present a valid Macao Health Code, as well as observe on-site measures.
