Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) President Guilherme Ung Vai Meng said yesterday he expected his bureau to initiate a cultural heritage evaluation for the former Iec Long Firecracker Factory in Taipa as early as at the end of this year.
Ung made the remarks while speaking to reporters after attending yesterday’s meeting of the government-appointed Cultural Heritage Council at the bureau in Praça do Tap Seac.
One of the topics on the agenda was that the bureau briefed the council members on the restoration work the bureau had carried out on the former factory in the past.
