Power utility CEM announced in a statement yesterday that temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in three areas, namely Rua da Praia do Manduco, Rua de João Lecaros and Rua dos Armazéns from June 20 to August 18.
The statement noted that because of the completion of new buildings, CEM, Macao Water, CTM and a private construction company will respectively conduct cable, water pipe and pipeline laying and sewer connection works.
From June 20 to July 19, there will be no parking in the loading/unloading area of Rua da Praia do Manduco near Beco de S. Roque. The statement added that from July 20 to August 18, there will also be no parking in the loading/unloading area of Rua de João Lecaros near S. Lourenço Municipal Market Complex.
Meanwhile, from June 20 to July 4, a section of Rua da Praia do Manduco between Rua de João Lecaros and Beco do Sal will be closed to traffic, according to the statement.
There will also be limited access to a section of Rua da Praia do Manduco near Rua de S. Roque from July 5 to July 19, as well as in a section of Rua de João Lecaros and Rua dos Armazéns near Kwan On Building from July 20 to August 18, the statement underlined.
During the project period, the statement promised, bus services will not be affected.
