Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) President Fanny Vong Chuk Kwan said yesterday she expected all undergraduate students to have their classes on the new campus in Taipa – the former campus of the University of Macau (UM) – within two or three years.

The ex-UM campus will be shared among the public Institute for Tourism Studies, Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM) and the private City University of Macau, since the University of Macau moved to Hengqin Island in 2014.

Vong made the comments while speaking to reporters at the Macau Science Centre in Nape where she attended an orientation ceremony for the new academic year.
