The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement yesterday that it will be postponing the 10th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE), which was originally slated to take place from July 8-10, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The statement noted that both MGTO and the event’s coordinator are working to inform units, exhibitors and participants through various channels about the postponement and next steps.

Enquiries can be made by contacting the Macau Travel Agency Association on 28703707 or emailing info@mitexpo.mo.

The statement added that MGTO is paying close attention to the pandemic’s development and acts in line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) prevention measures. The latest information on the pandemic can be found at https://www.ssm.gov.mo/apps1/PreventCOVID-19/en.aspx#clg22916.
