Grand Lisboa Palace to provide 470 rooms for quarantine

SJM Resorts announced in a statement yesterday that Grand Lisboa Palace Macau – East Wing Hotel Tower will be used as a medical observation hotel and provide “approximately 470 rooms for quarantine purposes” starting today in support of the government’s COVID-19 pandemic control and prevention measures.

The resort operator noted that it will “strictly adhere to the latest government advice and risk-management protocols concerning the wellbeing of all frontline staff”. Moreover, the statement pointed out that SJM will “constantly update and communicate with the authorities” as well as take “every possible measure to safeguard the health and safety of its guests and employees”.

The statement underlined that SJM is “deeply committed to working with the entire community” in protecting the city and overcoming the outbreak.
