Customs officers intercepted two women and a man for exercising outside and for not wearing a KN95 facemask, according to a statement by the Macau Customs Service yesterday.
The statement said that the three suspects are aged from 30 to 69.
The statement said that a woman not wearing a KN95 mask was stopped by the officers when she was jogging on the Cycle Track in Taipa on Tuesday night. The customs officers also intercepted another woman strolling in Estrada Marginal da Ilha Verde in the wee hours yesterday, the statement said, adding that one man was found not wearing a KN95 mask at the Inner Harbour near Barra yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, the Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement on Tuesday that police intercepted four men not wearing KN95 facemasks, while another man wearing a facemask was also arrested for overstaying.
The statement said that all five suspects were intercepted on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., aged between 20 and 60. Three of them are locals, one is a non-resident worker (NRW) while another one came to Macau with a mainland travel permit which had expired at the time he was arrested.
According to the statement, two locals were stopped for not wearing a KN95 mask near the Ruins of St. Paul and Rua Seis do Bairro Iao Hon respectively. The statement said that the other local male without a KN95 facemask was intercepted in the northern district, after a Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) officer report the incident to the PSP.
The non-resident worker was found in Santo António district, while the overstaying mainlander was found sitting near the peninsula’s reservoir, according to the statement.
