The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) announced in a statement yesterday that it has arranged with a number of elderly service centres to assist seniors who are unable to upload their rapid antigen test (RAT) results.

Members of the public must complete their RATs and upload the results daily through Sunday at https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/generalrat/.

The statement pointed out that the centres will not conduct the tests, but only assist the seniors in uploading their self-test results. The statement reminded seniors to make appointments in advance and visit the centres with photos of their test results, the statement noted. However, they should not take along any used test items.

A detailed list of the centres and their respective contact information, which can be used to make appointments, can found at: https://www.ias.gov.mo/

Moreover, to lessen the risks of COVID-19 transmission, the bureau encourages the elderly to learn how to conduct the self-tests and report their results through video tutorials, infographics, leaflets and pamphlets, or with the assistance of family members.

A tutorial by the bureau on how to conduct the self-tests can be viewed at https://youtu.be/hJsfVi7ev8k, while seniors can also learn how to report the results by watching https://youtu.be/vPWo5hPWnG0.
