The Transport Bureau (DSAT) has launched an electric bus road test, which offers residents fare-free travel from today for 30 days on an experimental route between Taipa and the peninsula.

Public bus companies TCM and New Era jointly operate the route with one e-bus each.

The bus route number for both companies is E02.

The bureau organised a media trip yesterday for reporters to experience travelling on the two buses in Taipa, where representatives from the two bus operators explained to the journalists on board the technical specifications of the two buses.
