A 24-year-old local woman surnamed Ma “fell” off a high-rise building on Friday, the Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a statement on that day.
The statement said that the police received a report at 3:13 p.m. on Friday saying that a woman was found lying in front of Lisboa Gardens in Rua Cidade de Lisboa on Small Taipa Hill. The statement said when the police arrived at the rooftop, on the 18th floor of the building, where Ma “fell” from, they found a plastic stool, a pair of glasses and a smartphone that had belonged to Ma. The statement added that Ma was lying on the podium below.
The statement said that she had no injuries that could have been caused by foul play, nor were there any signs of a struggle found at the scene
No suicide note was found at the scene, the statement said, adding that a post-mortem examination will be performed.
