There will be an amateur boxing event at Macao Boxing House’s gym tomorrow night in which pugilists from Hong Kong, Macau, the mainland and Taiwan will be taking part under the banner “Attitude of Youth Boxing Tournament of Four Regions Across the Straits – Call Motion Youth”.
MPD Weekender spoke to co-owners and trainers Janno and Wai Cheong plus some of the local boxers taking part in the gym near Triangle Garden on Wednesday.
Janno said, “There will be a total of eight bouts with a performance after the first four. We’ll have eight boxers from Macau, four from Hong Kong, two from Taiwan and two from [mainland] China.
