A recent joint statement by Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace says that crafted mooncakes in “sustainably chic gift sets – Wynn Tea Classic Mooncakes and Wynn Signature Mooncakes” have been prepared in conjunction with October Fifth Bakery Macau and are on sale at the two resorts.
The statement points out that the Wynn Tea Classic Mooncakes are infused with Osmanthus Oolong tea, while the Wynn Signature Mooncakes feature tea, lava pineapple and coffee, which cost 468 and 498 respectively with six pieces each.
According to the statement, both gift sets have been created with sustainable packaging made to impress both inside and outside. The statement says that apart from having designed the carry cases as “stylish tote bags”, the interior packaging has also
been “thoughtfully” designed to minimise Wynn’s carbon footprint.
The statement also says that in order to protect the forests and further reduce the environmental impact, each mooncake gift box features 3D embossed Wynn flowers and was printed on FSC-certified paper, adding that the mooncake trays within the boxes have been made entirely of biodegradable materials and a more sustainable soy ink has been used in place of traditional ink.
The statement underlines that guests may visit Wing Lei at Wynn Macau or Sweets at Wynn Palace in Cotai to purchase the gift sets or gift vouchers from now through September 9 and September 6 respectively, in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 10.
