Restaurants at City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira will present Mid-Autumn Festival dining specials next week.
According to a recent Melco statement, Cantonese restaurant Jade Dragon at City of Dreams will offer a six-course Mid-Autumn Festival menu for 1,880 patacas per person (minimum for two people) from September 10-11. The menu will start with appetisers including chilled drunken scampi with caviar in spices, aged “Hua Diao” wine and baked water caltrop puffs with roasted goose, as well as main dishes such as braised Australian abalone and pomelo peel topped with dried shrimp roes and slow-cooked wagyu beef cheek with satay sauce.
Pearl Dragon at Studio City, the statement said, will offer a six-course set dinner menu from September 9-11. It will include dishes such as crispy cuttlefish with salted egg yolk, wok-fried water chestnut with mushrooms and truffle, chilled fresh South African abalone with pomelo.
The set is priced at 1,080 patacas per person, while wine pairing is available for an additional 388 patacas per person, the statement added.
Meanwhile, at Altira, Ying specialises in fine Cantonese cuisine and local delicacies. The statement noted that its 10-course Mid-Autumn Festival set menu at 2,388 patacas for four includes smoked bean curd rolls filled with tribute vegetables, black fungus, bamboo bird’s nest, spring watermelon and pickled turnip, deep-fried Japanese oysters, and flambé Ibérico pork char siu; and traditional double-boiled winter melon soup with seafood, frog and pork, among other dishes.
Moreover, Melco has also launched its Moonbeam Rabbit gift box, which contains four white lotus seed paste mooncakes with double egg yolks. It is priced at 368 patacas per box, with 10 percent off for 10 boxes and 15 percent off for 20 boxes. The promotion runs until September 8, with those interested asked to order three days in advance.
The gift box also features an environmentally friendly DIY tote bag that kids and adults can paint.
