Rain and thunderstorms have been forecast for the opening night of the city’s annual firework contest on Saturday but the pyrotechnic competitors from Thailand and Portugal are confident they will put up a good show nevertheless
These two companies are among the 10 who are competing in this year’s 28th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest organised by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO).
The competition will take place near Macau Tower this Saturday, next Saturday, on September 15 (the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival), on September 17 (Saturday), and on October 1 (National Day).
