The observatory forecasts that the weather tomorrow, when the Mid-Autumn Festival takes place, will be sunny and hot, while the wind will be weak and the clouds will be thin in the evening.

The weather station also said that moonrise will be around 6:46 p.m., while the upper culmination will be at 12:43 a.m. on Sunday when it reaches its highest point above the horizon.

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said in a statement yesterday that according to previous climate data, nearly half of the Mid-Autumn Festivals in past years were affected by rain, but the probability of rain this year “is not high”. The statement noted that the forecast maximum temperature will be hovering around 32 degrees Celsius, which is higher than the average.

The observatory predicted very hot weather today, fine apart from cloudy periods.
