US gaming operator Wynn Macau, Limited said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday that Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, submitted a tender to the Macau government for the awarding of a 10-year gaming concession contract to operate games of chance or other games in casinos in Macau commencing on January 1 next year.
The announcement was signed by Wynn Macau Chairman Allan Zeman.
Wynn is among Macau’s six gaming operators that have said that they will bid for the government’s up to six gaming concessions.
The tenderers must submit their bids by 5:45 p.m. today.
