Melco Resorts and Entertainment said in a statement yesterday that the Studio City’s Phase 2 expansion is set to feature the 24/7 Japanese specialty store Don Don Donki which will be the largest in Macau.
According to the statement, a selection of products produced in Japan will be offered, ranging from lifestyle and daily necessities, limited-run products to a range of all-time favourite Japanese delicacies.
The statement noted that Studio City will also strive to provide an authentic Japanese dining experience through Macau’s First “Sen Sen Sushi” restaurant, which will welcome sushi lovers with its seasonal sushi dishes made with quality ingredients.
Macau Resorts Chief Operating Officer (COO) David Sisk was quoted in the statement as saying: “Don Don Donki will add to our upcoming, extraordinary new entertainment and hotel experiences with the Phase 2 expansion at Studio City where we will continue to innovate and elevate the standard of hospitality in Macau. At Melco we strive to bring unique experiences to the city to support the Macau SAR government’s strategy on diversified tourism.”
The resort operator said that it will provide more thrilling experiences through the opening of Studio City Phase 2 next year. It is set to feature one of Asia’s largest indoor and outdoor water parks that operates all seasons for guests of all ages, two luxury hotel towers with 900 rooms and suites, a retail complex of over 21,000 square metres and more attractions.
