The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement on Friday that renovation work on General Ye Ting’s Former Residence’s exterior walls have recently been completed so that the heritage property will reopen to the public today.
According to the statement, the facility, which is located at 76 Rua do Almirante Costa Cabral, is open daily except Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., including public holidays. Admission is free. Meanwhile, the Former Chong Sai (“Chinese-Western”) Pharmacy, at 80 Rua das Estalagens near the Ruins of St Paul’s will be temporarily closed for maintenance from September 26-30. It will reopen on October 1, the statement noted.
