The Ka Ho Heights Barbecue Park’s barbecue and children’s play areas will be temporarily closed for repairs and enhancement work which are expected to be finished by the end of next month, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a recent statement.
The statement noted that the barbecue area has been in use for many years, adding that maintenance was necessary as various degrees of ground settlement, unevenness and damage have been found to affect the area’s safety and normal use.
The children’s play area, the statement said, will also be improved with additional facilities including swings.
The statement urged members of the public not to enter the construction area to avoid accidents. For enquiries, one can call the bureau’s Civic Service Hotline on 2833 7676.
