Registration is open for the “Web and Application Accessibility Workshop (2022)”, which will be held on November 26, the Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) said in a statement yesterday.
The activity’s purpose, the statement noted, is to raise awareness of web and application accessibility and to “encourage all sectors of the community to follow the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines’ 2.1 AA-level standard, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)”.
The statement said that the free workshop has 50 places available, with those interested and aged 16 or above able to register online on the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre’s web page at https://events.cpttm.org.mo/seminar/213
Employees of non-profit institutions in Macau in the social service area will receive priority, the statement underlined. The registration deadline is at 5:30 p.m. on November 4.
