The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) announced in a statement yesterday that due to the “unstable” weather conditions in recent days, the new children’s playground in Lam Mau Tong district that was originally slated to open tomorrow will only open on Sunday.
The bureau announced details of the new children’s playground and its opening date, which was then scheduled to be November 9, in a statement on October 28. The announcement was published by The Macau Post Daily on Monday last week, at https://www.macaupostdaily.com/article15903.html.
The new children’s playground in Lam Mau Tong, the district south-west of Fai Chi Kei, features an outdoor sandpit, the first of its kind on the Macau peninsula. Initially after the opening of the sandpit, appointments will be required to enter the sandpit.
Yesterday’s statement also announced that appointments to use the sandpit can be made from Friday on https://app.iam.gov.mo/gfbooking.
