Melco Resorts & Entertainment said in a statement earlier this week that it is “honoured” to be an official event partner for the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO)’s Light up Macao 2022 and will present lightshows across its properties.
The statement noted that the MGTO-organised event is themed “Dazzling Winter” and will be held from December 3 to January 1. The resort operator’s support, according to the statement, aims to “help promote economic revival and diversification” in Macau. Melco will present indoor and outdoor light shows, as well as displays across City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira Macau.
These will also be held at City of Dreams’ newly opened art and retail destination, The Showroom. The statement said that members of the public are invited to “enjoy Melco’s complimentary immersive visual art experience as it illuminates the city’s evening skies and heightens the festive spirit”.
