A local man in his fifties died after a fight between him and a “friend” during a heated argument at about 2:30 a.m. in a restaurant yesterday, according to the Judiciary Police (PJ).
Until late last night, no one had been arrested in connection with the incident which happened outside a restaurant in Rua de Horta e Costa, close to Horta e Mitra Municipal Market.
According to a PJ statement released early yesterday morning, the victim, surnamed Kam, had a meal and drank beer with his friend in the restaurant. During the late-night supper they started arguing, which then erupted into a fight outside the restaurant.
