Three men and a woman were slightly injured in a traffic accident involving three motorcycles and a dump lorry (aka dumper) on the Macau-Taipa Friendship Bridge yesterday, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said in a statement.
The accident occurred at around 9 a.m. in the direction from the peninsula to Taipa. The four people who were injured were motorcycle drivers or pillions, the statement said.
The quartet, all of them local residents aged between 17 and 61, were taken to the private Kiang Wu Hospital for treatment, the statement said.
They were in a stable condition when they were taken to the hospital, the statement said.
The accident caused a traffic jam on the bridge in the direction of Taipa from the peninsula for a while as traffic police officers investigated the accident.
