Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said yesterday that a report on an headline-making accident in August, when a tourist coach spectacularly crashed into a residential building near the Ruins of St Paul’s, had been sent to the Public Prosecution Office (MP) for follow-up investigation, and she pledged that her office would help the affected flat owners address their concerns to the relevant authorities.

Senna Fernandes made the remarks on the sidelines of a press conference about next month’s Global Tourism Economy Forum. She did not say when her office sent the report to prosecutors.

The annual forum will be held on October 15-16 at Studio City.
