The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) said in a statement earlier this week that it held its “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Application Training Programme (2022)” on Saturday, which gathered around 50 participants.
The training programme was themed “Frontier Technologies and Applications of Mobile Communications” and was organised by the bureau in collaboration with the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM), CTM, China Telecom (Macau), Hutchison Telephone (Macau) and SmarTone – Mobile Communications (Macau).
According to the statement, representatives of the co-organisers presented the sector’s development situation, while a Huawei “training expert” introduced the mobile communications industry’s trends and prospects, among others, through video conferencing.
The statement said that this was done to enable participants to learn about the market changes and technological evolution, as well as to “understand how cutting-edge information and communication technologies lead the development and innovation of different industries”.
